Yoga Classes in Koramangala at Yog Gokul Yoga Studio

You will love the entire energy of Yog Gokul Yoga Studio. Everyone here is friendly and encouraging. All our students are full of heart, willing to learn and serious about yoga practice. The important point about our yoga class is we teach students to recognize that learning yoga is an ongoing process.

Yoga practice will support you when you need support, guide you when you are confused, heal you when you are sick. You should engage with yourself and everyone around you in an authentic way which will take you to a deeper recognition and expression of the beautiful person you already are.

In order to reap real benefits of yoga, you need to practice, practice and practice. You should dedicate minimum 15 minutes of your daily time to practice yoga.

In our yoga classes we give detailed attention to alignment and doing the posture in the right way. All our classes can be attended by all levels. If you feel your yoga practice needs to be more intense, please get in touch with us and we can arrange an intense power yoga or Ashtanga Yoga class every weekend.

At our yoga center at Koramangala, we are now conducting acroyoga jams every Sunday at 5:00 pm. If you are excited about acroyoga you can register to our Sunday Acroyoga Jams. There is a nominal fee of Rs.150 for practice just for using the space. In the acroyoga jams, there is no teaching involved, you need to engage with each other as a community.

Students at Yog Gokul find the yoga classes stress relieving. In our yoga classes we give utmost importance to increase flexibility. There are some basic stretches that are practice everyday. If you are regular you will start experiencing the difference in your flexibility. Sometimes the yoga classes are intense. We introduce advance asanas or holding Santulan asana (plank pose) for longer durations. This is done to encourage our students to increase their strength along with flexibility.

If you are new to yoga you will be given various modifications or preparatory poses before we jump into advanced yoga asanas. Example- Lot of our students find it difficult to do Chakrasana in the initial days. However with regular practice and increasing arm strength they are able to do it in 3-4 weeks. If you are dedicated then you can improve your yoga practice really quickly.
