Restorative Yoga

A restorative yoga is a sequence of five or six poses held for longer durations, involving light twists, forward seating and gentle back bend postures. BKS Iyengar’s Iyengar yoga has been a major reason for the formation of Restorative Yoga.

With the aid of props it is easier to maintain the balance while stimulating and relaxing various organs. Restorative yoga is beneficial for the entire body and also targets specific parts like heart and lungs.

Restorative yoga helps you to overcome fatigue and stress resulting from day to day activities. It helps recover from emotional instability arising from depression, anxiety caused due to various events such as loss of job, traumatic divorce or death of beloved ones.

Balasana

This pose gently massages the abdominal muscles. Hold this posture for at least 5 minutes in total.

Anjali Mudra

Anjali Mudra is a hand posture which is very common during the practice of yoga.

Side-Lying Corpse Pose

Side-Lying Savasana is very effective for relieving fatigue. To get true benefits hold for 10-20 minutes.
