Intermediate level Kung-fu:

In the intermediate level of Kung Fu, we focus on training of reaction and fighting habits for self defense applications. The students learn fighting form drills with a partner through constant practice. The students will develop a strong foundation of all martial arts techniques as well as natural, fluid reactions that become a muscle memory and difficult to forget over time. Later we teach more advanced bare hand, weapon, and two-person forms. All classes are conducted for a duration of 45 minutes to one hour.

Kung Fu

The most interesting aspect of practicing Kung-Fu is it leads one to a path of self realization. When you have a torch, it will make your path easier in darkness. In the some way, Kung-Fu is a torch. When you start practicing Kung-Fu you will start discovering the influence of Kung-Fu in your life.

This is the reason why Kung-Fu was originally practiced by Shaolin Monks for health and self-defense during their quest of enlightenment.

No matter who you are or what you do, whether you have any previous experience in martial arts or not, you can pick up the martial arts skills if you have dedication and commitment. Even an hour of Kung-Fu practice daily can raise your potential for achieving your goals.

Kung-Fu can enhance your chances of success in all walks of life be it personal or professional.

Unlike the crisp and well designed for of typical martial arts training, Kung-Fu aims to develop a sustained and well co-ordinated strength in one’s physical, mental and spiritual realms.

At Yog Gokul Martial Arts Class in Koramangala, we fully train our students of how the Kung-Fu skills can be utilized to deal with the real life challenges.

Origin of Kung-Fu

Historically This form of Martial Arts was developed by Bodhi Dharma, a South Indian yogi, possibly from Kerala. Body Dharma travelled to China and shared his knowledge with the monks of Shaolin Temple. This form was later recognized as Kung-Fu in China.

Kung-Fu is a comprehensive collection of different styles from various forms of martial arts. This is different from other styles as it is practiced for spiritual growth, mental peace along with physical fitness and self defense. The other styles are developed only for combat purposes.

Kung-Fu carries a significant inspiration from animals. It incorporates various animal styles such as tiger, eagle, monkey, months, crane, snake among the few. These styles were developed by Shaolin Monks by observing their swift, keen and precise movements at the time of self defense and attack.

Kung-Fu embraces techniques which look soft but are harder to master than the hard techniques in other styles of Martial Arts. These techniques exacerbate vitality, strength and concentration which are very useful to deal with challenges in our daily life.
